SUMMARY:Prodrive Technologies Excursion
DESCRIPTION:Prodrive Technologies is a company based in the Brainport Eindhoven region that designs and manufactures electronics\, embedded software\, and industrial systems. They develop components and products used in several sectors\, including semiconductor manufacturing equipment\, medical devices\, and energy infrastructure. We have been invited to take a look behind the scenes.  \nA notable aspect of their operation is that they handle their processes internally. Rather than separating development and production entirely\, they combine R&D\, prototyping\, validation\, and automated manufacturing under one roof. \nSince the event does not take place on the TU/e campus\, you can either join us and travel there with us by bus or find your own mode of transportation. If you decide to join us in traveling to Prodrive\, we will meet at the bus side of the station around 9 AM.
