Canon is a global leader in consumer and professional printing. High-volume printers that can reach up to 200 meter of printed paper per minute are undoubtedly high-tech systems. The Canon Production printing branch employs about 3100 people, of whom around 1900 work in Venlo.
During the excursion, we will see a demonstration of one of the machines, receive a presentation about a day in the life at Canon, and get a tour through the Research & Development department. Finally, we will close the day off with a “borrel”.
It will start around 13:00 and end around 17:00, excluding travel time. A bus will be arranged from the TU/e campus. A more detailed timing will follow later, but including travel it will likely be from 11:45 – 18:15.
