About the association
Master Association Artificial Intelligence & Engineering Systems Mimir is the official study association of the Master AI&ES at TU/e. However, we do not only welcome AI&ES students, but everyone interested in the combination of AI and engineering systems, either by becoming a member or a benefactor.
By organizing excursions, study trips and lunch lectures, we give students the opportunity to discover this interesting and diverse field as well as getting into contact with their possible future employer!
Besides these educational/informative lectures, Mimir also organizes some other entertaining activities such as borrels.
About the name
The name Mimir comes from the Norse mythology. Mímir is the god of wisdom and knowledge, who’s head gets carried around to give advice and distribute knowledge. This can be compared to ChatGPT, which you carry around in your pocket, or to the AI in its engineering system.
